Thank you for supporting
our small business!
Here’s how to get the
most out of your 100%
pure beeswax candles.
⸻
Trim the Wick
Before lighting, trim the wick to
about ¼ inch. This helps
your candle burn cleanly,
evenly, and with a steady flame.
How to Light Your Candle
Use a long lighter or match
to hold the flame at the base
of the wick. This melts the
surrounding wax so the wick
can absorb it and begin to burn.
If the candle is difficult to
light, tilt it slightly and continue
holding the flame at the base
of the wick until it catches.
Avoid Drafts
Place candles away from fans,
open windows, or high-traffic
areas to prevent uneven
burning and dripping.
Burn Time Tips
To ensure an even burn and
maximize the life of your candle,
allow the wax to melt fully to
the edges during the first use
(approximately 1–2 hours). For
optimal performance, burn in
intervals of 1–3 hours. Avoid
burning longer than 4 hours at
a time. Allow the candle to cool
completely before trimming
the wick or relighting.
Safety
- Never leave a burning
candle unattended
-Keep out of reach of
children and pets.
- Always place on a
heat-safe surface, away
from flammable materials.
Each candle is made from
100% pure beeswax and
cotton wicks — Unscented
but naturally smells like
honey!
Free of dyes, fillers, oils,
toxins, parabens, lead,
soy, sulfates, synthetic
fragrances, and petroleum
making them a popular
choice for those with
allergies or sensitivities.
Beeswax candles burn
slower than other candles
while also burning cleaner
since they don’t release
toxins when they burn.
Beeswax is also a renewable
resource. It’s gathered when
the beekeepers extract honey
from the hive.
A white film called bloom will
naturally develop on your
candle over time. This is a sign
of purity and an indication that
the candle is made from 100%
beeswax. It does not affect the
way your candle burns. If desired,
you can gently warm the
candle with a hair dryer on low
to restore its polished look.
While some dripping can occur,
I test each candle extensively
to ensure a clean, efficient burn
with minimal leftover wax. Natural
variation in beeswax -caused by
the types of pollen and nectar
the bees gather throughout the
season- can affect how each
candle burns.
Thank you for lighting your
home with our beeswax candles!
